ReplyDeleteI honestly can't describe how much I love these - this is the kind of stuff I want to be able to draw one day!!! May I ask how big the originals are?? I assume you;d have to start fairly large to get the detail in.... And do you think the book will be available internationally?

ReplyDeleteLesley > I start a small rough version like half A4, but then for the clean version, I enlarge the rough to an A3 to be more comfortable working on the details indeed.
I love looking at these kind of illustrations full of details too. It's fun. But making them is totally another story! ;)
I can't tell yet if the books will be translated and available internationally. I guess it will depend on their success.
